The Foodies Festival returns to Syon Park this bank holiday weekend. You’ll have to opportunity to sample some delicious food and drink, experience some excellent live bands and meet some most talented chefs around.
Overall, there will be over 200 exhibitors serving up a variety of different street foods from all over the world. There will also be a kid’s cookery school, a brand new Cakes and Desserts Theatre, a healthy living area, Chef’s Theatre and food and drink masterclasses.
Food and Drink
Head to the Chef’s Theatre to watch some of the country’s finest culinary masters and get tips and recipes to try at home. The line-up this year features Saturday Kitchen presenter Matt Tebutt, Masterchef 2017 winner Saliha Mahmood-Ahmed and Michelin starred chefs such as Josh Eggleton, Stephen Crane, Brad Carter and Atul Kochhar. Take inspiration from Bake Off winner Sophie Faldo in The Cakes and Bake Theatre and to wash it all down, Charles Metcalfe and Melissa Cole will be presented a wine, craft beer, champagne and cocktails masterclass. To finish the day, settle down with a glass of Pimm’s from the Giant Pimm’s Teapot.
The Foodies Festival will feature a range of exciting bands, all helping to raise money for Musicians Against Homelessness. A cause which has already raised over £100,000 for homelessness charities. Bands and artists will take to the stage from 11am on Saturday and Sunday with the headliners, the Hoosiers and Toploader coming on at 7:45. On Monday 28th May, the final act, April Blue will start their set at 5pm.
